Katrina? Was that the name of the levy that broke?

Its that time of year again. The anniversary of Hurricane Katrina. Two years have passed. People are still displaced. Insurance companies are not paying up, the government is still not responding well, and more storms are pounding the gulf. But all the headlines are really miss leading...

The hurricane did not displace all those families. The storm passed. Yes it did damage, but the Levy was the culprit that drown the city in a man made flood. The government failed to maintain its infrastructure and tons of people suffered and are still suffering today.

Katrina did not case all this suffering why are they making it sound like this is all due to a natural disaster. That levy failing was a man mad disaster. So every time i see the news and lately its all day long with the "Katrina" stories. I ask myself; Katrina? Was that the name of the Levy that broke?
