Sunrise Ride on the North Coast Inland Trail. It's been a while since I've had a nice early morning ride. Slept all night with windows open and crickets chirping giving way to morning songbirds by 5am. I put some coffee on and took time opening my eyes and the house. It was in the 60's by 5:30 and light winds from the east, no way was I passing this beautiful morning. It took some convincing to get Bambi and DeJay up but once out on the trail riding into the rising sun it all makes sense and feels great. Now for a few emails and morning meds (and the nap that follows). Off to the gym later for afternoon laps in the pool.
