DeJay's first snow

Well we're getting a pounding of snow with no signs of stopping. Dejay had his first ever run in with deep snow... and he loved it! Nose first right down into it and plowed along the backyard like a shark in water. We went a few yards over to his favorite digging hole (an old abandoned groundhog hole) and he went clear in, tail and all. He did a good bit of running and kicking up the snow from yard to yard untill he heard a neighbors dog bark. His head when strait up prairie dog style up on his back legs. Another bark let out and we were in a full sprint back to the patio. It was a lot of fun for us both. He came in, shook off the snow, had a piece of raw bacon for a treat and now he's fast asleep in his cage buried under a pile of blankets.
