Today is St Patrick's Day. We are halfway through the month of March and so far logged a full 100 miles on the bike!!! Awesome. Today was particularly beautiful second ride to Clyde, 73 degrees, actually had to stop and put on sunscreen. Does my spirit a lot of good not only to get out on the bike but the entire biochemistry that comes with being outdoors in the sunshine. Lots of cutting has been done along the Clyde section in Sandusky county. I suppose it needed doing but I will sure miss those overhanging branches of green. The winter has been long and feeling my skin warm under the rays really brings mindfulness that the cold is past.
Saturday was my second ride to Elmore through Lindsey, cooler then in the fifty's but loved every sun soaked moment. Stopping in Lindsey for hot tamale's from the local bodega. Home made and delicious. I also highly recommend the Lindsey cafe if your in need of a full service lunch or just an ice cream cone. Looking forward to many more rides now that spring is in full swing. With weather warming earlier it won't be long before I can enjoy my favorite sunrise rides. They are the most serene and beautiful attraction in the county.
