Cured! everytime, without fail. Love right from the heart of mother earth, wraped up in her arms as the trees pass by a swirl of full on green. Radical silence filled up by wakeing birds chanting their songs into the cool morning air. Father sky breaking through the clouded blanket above, shining warm rays against my skin. This gliding along the trail is a deep love and deeper healing. The remembering comes when you fly out into it.
Two weeks since Dick and I traveled to Cincinnatti, Ohio. Theres been some riding. Across town to library or grocery. A quick ride to the gym for a swim. But this morning our first time back out on the local trails. Not a big one but a brief ten miles before starting our day.
The nights are very cool for July but vegetables are coming on nicely. They stay warm at night being so close to the house, no big row garden here. I'll have another big bag of lettuce to fill today after i'm done here and have a stop by the gym. This stubborn last 20 pounds will get some attention this month. Also I will talk with my cousin Luke about getting some ink. It's been put off for too long. If I'm going to have tattoos I simply must have some from my own cousin, he is a great artist, and I am long overdue to add meaningful symbols to my totem.
Peace,
Rick and Dick
