Off the chain, indeed.

49 degrees sunrise on the bike trail, smell of new blossoms on the spring trees. I sway side to side on the smooth rolling surface of the bike trail. A sweetie friend recently commented that I sould let myself off the chain. Soooo Right On! What a healing thing it is to be out soaking up the suns first rays. Bunnies, chipmunks, and chirping birds painting the first strokes of sound into the morning air. Grounded, fresh, content, full healing.

Well I finished the chapel lawn saturday between rain clouds, patched a few spots in the lawn. Had some hail during one big downpour. Direct contact with the earth is also a healing thing. Planted the last bed (yeah right you know ill find another spot somewere along the fenceline to plant.) Herbs and flowers. Pepermint, cilantro, thyme, rosemary, lavender, chives, with a pepper, some allisum, and marigolds. Radish and lettuce sprinkled in for good measure. Dug some morninglory and moonflowers out into new pots. May move some beans later this week. Saving the cucumbers for last part of the month. they are a bit tender for current weather.

Today i'll bake dome Oatmeal Macadamia nut cookies to take down to Dan's bike shop. My rear wheel needs some attention and cookies always brings out A++ service from the wheelman. Mom's in for surgery tommorow AM, knee replacement. It was really great to be out in the sunrise this morning I must note and get at it again.

It is strong Kung Fu.

Peace, Luv, and Ferret kisses,

Rick and Dick
