Ohio Governor Speaks Against War

Governor Ted Strickland spoke yesterday Sept 30, 2007 at Crystal Harbors (formerly PK's Banquet Hall) in Fremont, Ohio. Appearing with Cabinet Health Director Dr. Alvin Jackson of Fremont and future 5th district representative Robin Weirauch (www.robinweirauch.com) Governor Strickland spoke out against the presidents war in Iraq. He was presented petition boards filled with signatures of Sandusky County Residents collected at this years fair by People for Peace and Justice of sandusky county.

It's not unusual to hear people speak out against this war. National polls recently show only 11% of Americans think this war should continue, but having the governor of the state of Ohio lend his voice puts much needed pressure on the national democratic party. The party needs to Change Coarse of their opposition. Stop compromising and draw the purse strings. End this war now!
